VMware: ESXi Host Embedded Client llega a su versión 1.5.0 (build 3976049 – Fling 9)

Saludos, ya os he contado en anteriores ocasiones sobre el nuevo y flamante VMware Fling llamado ESXi Host Embedded Client, el cual VMware renombró e incluyo en la Release Comercial como VMware Host Client, hace unos días VMware lanzaba una actualización que incluye muchas mejoras, entre ellas una de mis favoritas está en el Networking, y la posibilidad de poder hacer NIC Teaming y Traffic shaping.

Actualizando mediante el propio ESXi Host Client, HTML5

Una de las mejores maneras, y más locas a la vez ya que es un completo Inception, es actualizar el ESXi Host Client basado en HTML5, usando el propio acceso web:

Pero si queremos actualizar los Host ESXi mediante comando, introduciremos la siguiente línea:

  • Added support for NIC teaming and traffic shaping for vSwitches and Port groups

Espero que os guste, y ya sabéis, actualizar nunca está de más, el Fling se encuentra en constante desarrollo, pero sin duda las mejoras sobre Networking merecen el upgrade.
